Samaritan Hearts Foundation was established in 2017 by a team of youthful rural intellectuals and led by Buluba Aggrey who were inspired by the miserable social economic situations in their local communities. Their goal was to come up with a platform that would aim at bringing hope to the rural people in their communities.
It was not until March 1st 2019, after many years of helping the needy without legal approval, that Samaritan Hearts Foundation was registered by authorities of Mayuge District local Administration operating under registration N0. MYG/DNB/109/07 thus fully existing and operating legally.
Samaritan Hearts Foundation since its formation has been operating under its original name and has a fully developed institutional capacity with well a qualified human resource team that is overseeing gender balance at the forefront of its operation and also with non human resource organized in respect with gender issues or lavatories.
